|Specification||This role exists to ensure a clean and hygienic environment for the Fraser Alexander’s Greenstone employees. To provide assistance to the Receptionists welcoming guests to FA and supplying them with refreshments.|
Ensure the kitchen is well cleaned (i.e. sink, countertops, surfaces, refrigerators, microwaves, coffee machines, etc.)
Wash up cups, plates and cutlery.
Sweep and mop floor.
Refill coffee machines.
Report anything that is not in a good working condition in their area.
Ensure that ladies bathrooms are well cleaned (i.e. toilet stools, polish mirrors, clean sinks, taps, empty waste basket and replace liner, spot clean doors, clean the floor, etc.) As per the work schedule provided by the reporting manager.
Replenish consumable items, i.e. soap, toilet rolls, paper towels and air fresheners.
Dust, de-cobweb, damp wipe, polish furniture, window sills, external surfaces of cupboards, shelves, and decorations as per schedule.
Vacuum floors as per schedule.
Empty waste bins or similar containers as per schedule.
Transport waste material to designated collection points.
Straighten magazines and newspapers in foyer/waiting areas.
Tidy foyer/waiting areas and put stray items away.
Ensure that all water stations are refilled when necessary.
Meeting Rooms and Functions
Ensure that meeting rooms are well cleaned, white boards are cleaned, and boardroom tables are dusted and wiped.
Set up and prepare meeting rooms for meetings and/or training.
Ensure water serving at all meetings and/or training.
Clear away empty plates and cups once a meeting and/or training has ended.
Assist on-site caterers for functions and events.
Responsible for keeping adequate stocks of crockery, kitchen grocery and cleaning materials.
Ensure that cleaning material stocks are stored safely apart from food and drinks.
Adherence to daily schedules.
Carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the job.
Grade 10 will be advantageous
1-3 years previous experience working in a similar position
Customer care experience (advantageous)
SKILLS, QUALITIES AND ABILITIES
Must be able to read and write and communicate in English
Must be an expert in Safety orientation
Must have an advanced understanding of Managing relationships
Must be an expert in Listening
Must have an advanced understanding of Organising
