DEPARTMENT: ADMINISTRATION AND COMMUNITY SERVICES
DIVISION: DISASTER MANAGEMENT
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (INTERN)
(3 x CONTRACT POSTS)
Requirements:
 Grade 12/Matric
 Diploma/Certificate in Disaster Management/ Public Administration/ Office Management/ Human
Resources or equivalent qualification.
 Computer literacy (Windows, MSOffice, MSWord, MS Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
 Communicate effectively in two of the three official languages of the Western Cape
 Ability to work independently.
 Attention to Detail
 Excellent administrative and organizational skills
 Good interpersonal and communication skills
 1 – 2 years’ experience in Administration.
Duties and Responsibilities
Performs tasks/activities associated with Disaster Management, Administration, Planning, Public
Education and Awareness and related tasks and activities as provided by the Head of Centre.
Centre : Moorreesburg
Salary : Subjected to stipend (Contract ends on 31 December 2022)
