Requirements :

  • Grade 12 or equivalent. Ability to communicate with people. The candidate must have a strong document management skill, computer literate (Microsoft office) as well as interpersonal and communication skills. Understand the National Core Standard and the Batho-Pele principles. The candidate must have an ability to pay attention to details. The candidate must be prepared to work shifts, during weekends and public holidays.

Duties :

  • Capture patient’s information using the PAAB system or manual system during down time. Capture files opened during down time. Classify patients according to their income. Interview patients to ensure that their information has not changed. Collect revenue. Retrieve patient files. Ensure that relevant documents are attached to the patient file (Identity document, GPF 4&5, Proof of residence, proof of income) Conduct file audit when requested to do so. Ensure improvement of service delivery. Perform any other administration activity as delegated by the supervisor. Adherence to the relevant prescripts of the department of health.
