Requirements :

Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification. Diploma/ N6 Certificate or Higher/National/Advanced Certificate in Information Technology OR admin related field will be an added advantage. Administration exposure in the Public Health Sector, preferably ICT environment will be an added advantage. Computer literacy with practical knowledge of MS package (Word, Excel, Power Point and Internet). Ability to write reports and minutes. Knowledge of and the ability to interpret ICT Policy. Knowledge and understanding of the legislative frameworks governing the Public Service. Sound verbal and written communication skills. Ability to plan, organize and evaluate work within different streams. Willingness to work under pressure.

Duties :

Ensure compliance with the National Core Standards/Ideal ICT Standard Framework and projects policies/procedures. Record, organise, store, and retrieve correspondence, Update registers. Handle routine enquiries. Make photocopies and receive or send emails. Distribute documents/packages to various stakeholders as required. Keep and maintain the incoming and outgoing registers and the filing system for the component. Type letters and/or other correspondence when required. Keep outgoing document register of the component. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in relation to procurement of goods and services. Complete procurement forms for the purchasing of standard office items. Stock control of office stationery. Provide personnel administration clerical support services within the component – Keep and maintain a leave register, attendance register and personnel records for the component. Arrange travelling and accommodation. Maintain asset register for the component. Maintain a leave register for the component. Manage performance management development documentation of staff. Organize meetings. Keep and maintain the attendance register of the component. Arrange travelling and accommodation. Check correctness of subsistence and travel claims of officials and submit to manager for approval. Handle pettycash for the component. Perform any other official duties delegated by the supervisor.
